AkerelesmallI am honored to serve as your President this year. My involvement with our District Branch and the American Psychiatric Association (APA) dates back to residency. I have always been a member of this District Branch. I have had the opportunity to contribute as chair of the residents’ committee, chair of the addiction committee and assembly representative. I look forward to using this most recent opportunity to make a difference in the future of our organization at a time of paramount importance.
